BU’s Richard Teather, a Senior Lecturer in Taxation, has been included in the “Financial Centres International 500”, a list compiled by industry insiders which ranks the most influential players in international finance.
Richard, who is also a leading European specialist in tax law and policy, is ranked at number 339 on the list. His position makes BU the highest ranked UK University on the list, 55 places above its nearest UK counterpart.
The list itself is designed to be “intended as a first insight into the people the forces, and the institutions that are behind the unprecedented re-shaping of the global financial system, following the credit crisis which began in 2007.”
