<p><strong>Thursday 25 April</strong> &#8211; &#8220;Litigation of patents essential to technical standards &#8211; what is the future for patent trolls?&#8221;, Dr. Nicholas Saunders (Brick Court Chambers)</p>
<p>All lectures take place on at 18:00, in the Executive Business Centre, close to the Bournemouth Travel Interchange (89 Holdenhurst Road, BH8 8EB).</p>

			<content:encoded><![CDATA[<p><a href="http://blogs.bournemouth.ac.uk/business/files/2012/05/win-win.jpg"><img class="alignright" src="http://blogs.bournemouth.ac.uk/business/files/2012/05/win-win.jpg" alt="Red and white stiped target circle" width="100" height="100" /></a>This workshop, sponsored by the <a href="http://www.heacademy.ac.uk/">Higher Education Academy</a> (HEA) and <a href="http://www.bournemouth.ac.uk/business">BU&#8217;s Business School</a>, aims to explore the lessons learnt from facilitating action-learning through real-life Business Community projects and equip participants with the skills to confidently plan and manage projects of their own.</p>
<p>Action-learning and experiential project management, exploited through real-life community projects, can substantially underpin the development of management competencies in undergraduate students whilst fostering their personal and professional development. Cross-discipline projects not only benefit the students involved but also the local community, as well as the University&#8217;s status within the wider community and cross-collaboration across internal departments.</p>
<p>The workshop will be stimulating, interactive and will provide attendees with an excellent networking opportunity. It is open to academics from other HEIs.</p>
