Unfortunately Derek Bradley will be unable to attend to deliver the second tutorial at the Workshop.

We are please to welcome Dr. Tiberiu Popa from ETH Zurich, who will present tutorial 2 in his stead on the topic of Spatial-temporal Surface Acquisition. See the workshop page for more information.

An official call for posters has been sent out and is now online. We are accepting 4 page abstracts of your exciting and previously unpublished work. More details are accessible here.

Short paper notification delayed to 16 April

As we are still accounting for earlier delays, the short paper notification date has slipped to the 16th April. We have also as a result extended the deadline for “Camera Ready” short papers (i.e. with corrections) to 23rd April.

Short Paper Copyright Ownership

To encourage dissemination of your research work, the copyright of the Short Papers belongs to the authors, not the conference.

Therefore, you will have a full right to revise the work and publish an improved version at a different journal or conference.

Letters of Invitation

Under ordinary circumstances, we will issue letters directed to both the attendee and the visa officials after registration.

However, in the special case of an attendee requiring a letter of invitation to get approval from their institute to register, we can issue their letter of invitation on request before registration.

Due to an unexpected system error, the conference registration page will not be ready until the end of the week. The IT team is doing their best to resolve this issue as quickly as they can. We are sorry if it causes any inconvenience to you.

Because of the delay, we extend the deadline for the registration of the 35 Visual Computer papers to 30 March.

Note that Camera Ready journal papers are still due on the 24/03/2012.

Please note: formatting of camera ready papers for publication in the Visual Computer must conform with the Springer guidelines which can be found on the Visual Computer homepage. Follow the links for Instructions for Authors.

~~This stylesheet differs from the one used for the conference proceedings.~~Apologies: the LaTeX stylesheet for the conference and for Springer Journals is the same. Only the Word template differs. Please ensure you use the Springer official word template for camera ready versions.
