Bournemouth University Dementia Institute members engage with service providers, care professionals, campaigning organisations, carers and people with dementia to provide cutting-edge research, consultancy, and service evaluation aimed at improving the quality of care and support offered to people with dementia and their families. We are able to offer extensive expertise in dementia to local stakeholders and as a University-wide Institute with members from different Schools, we are developing a truly inter-disciplinary team representing a range of disciplines and professions, for example psychology, social policy, sociology, gerontology, nursing, engineering, computing, design, tourism, counselling, history and archaeology.
Whether you are looking for a consultant to advise on the delivery of a particular care service or approach, or research or service evaluation to provide evidence to help improve the care you provide, we will have the right people with the right skills and experience to help.
