At the recent European Conference for Social Work Research (ECSWR 2025) in Munich, Adele McMahon showcased her important research with an academic poster titled “Their Photos, Their Voice: What Young People Say About Their Experience as Adolescent Parents in the Child Protection System.” As Europe’s largest annual event dedicated to social work research, this year’s conference centered on the theme “Embracing Democracy in Social Work Practice and Research.”
Adele’s participation provided a fantastic platform to present her findings, engage with a special interest group focused on social work with adolescents, and attend various enlightening symposiums and presentations. Beyond sharing her work, the conference was an invaluable opportunity to connect with fellow researchers from around the globe, exchanging expertise and insights that will undoubtedly enrich future studies in the field.
ECREA’s 7th European Communication Conference ended on Saturday, 3rd November at Palazzo Dei Congressi in Lugano, Switzerland.
