- Overseas Travel Grants from the EPSRC for travel to recognised non-UK centres of excellence
- Wellcome Trust Pathfinder Award for diagnosis, prevention and treatment of orphan and neglected diseases – up to £100,000. Closing date: 5th August 2013
- EPSRC calls for Innovative manufacturing in continuous manufacturing and crystallisation feasibility study proposals – up to £20,000. Closing date: 20th August 2013
- AHRC & Wired Sussex are supporting a Knowledge Exchange Fellowship to be based at FuseBox in Brighton. Closing date: 9th August 2013
- Confidence in Concept Scheme from the MRC – Awards between £250,00 and £1,200,00. Closing date 13 August 2013
- EPSRC Resource Allocation Panel are offering technical top-ups to existing class 1a grant holders and class 1b access to HECToR. Closing dates 13th August and 27 August respectively
