CoPMRE held its Spring Visiting Faculty Morning at the EBC with a theme of Surgical Futures. One of our guest speakers was Dr Jason Moore, Associate Professor in Mechanical Engineering, The Pennsylvania State University (USA) who presented his research on how robotics can enhance the training of future surgeons. He discussed the mechanical development of an advanced robotic medical simulation training system which allows the user to virtually practice on a diverse number of human anatomies whilst offering guided feedback. .
