Today received confirmation from Bournemouth University Executive that the proposed name change of the Centre for Midwifery, Maternal & Perinatal Health (CMMPH) to the more inclusive Centre for Midwifery & Women’s Health (CMWH) has been ratified. So we proudly present our new centre with over fifty members.
The new centre has four focus areas: (1) ‘Changing the narrative and care in early labour; (2) Infant feeding and postnatal care; (3) Improving care for mothers and babies in low and middle income countries; and (4) Women’s health and other research.
