On Monday, Dr Shanti Shanker, Dr Ben Hicks and Dr Jan Wiener presented their current ADRC research projects at the ARUK (Alzheimer’s Research UK) Southcoast Network Public Meeting. The presented projects focus on psychological and social aspects of living with dementia and include the development of serious games for people with dementia, the use of graffiti to give people living with dementia the opportunity to express themselves, and the development of dementia friendly design guidelines that minimise spatial disorientation.
