Cheltenham Science Festival are on the hunt for new contestants for the 2019 Over-Ambitious Demo Challenge on Sunday 9 June.
In previous years, contestants have prepared a 12-minute demo for the first round, and a 5-minute demo for the second round. Previous demos have included ballet dancing on cornstarch, crazy bubbles, steel-cutting sausages and more.
Demos need to be fun, exciting, surprising and overly ambitious, keeping the audience in suspense until the very end!
Winners will be decided by an audience vote. Participants will receive travel, accommodation, VIP room access and a £100 honorarium for participation.
The deadline for applications is Monday 25 February at 12:00.
