Last call for – UKRO Visit – 14/10/15

Our annual UKRO (UK Research Office) visit from our European Advisor, Maribel Glogowski, will take place tomorrow – Wednesday, 14th October 2015 at Talbot Campus.

There will be an information sharing session for RDS-only staff in the morning with presentations for all staff in the afternoon.

Indicative Schedule:

12:00 – 13:00      Lunch (afternoon attendees and RDS)

13:00 – 14:00      EU Funding (an introduction to Horizon 2020)

14:00 – 16:15      (Draft) Work Programmes (specific strands):

14:00 – 14:25      Cross-cutting – Science with and for society / Widening participation

14:30 – 15:30      European Research Council (ERC) and Marie Skłodowska-Curie Actions (MSCA)

15:30 – 15:45      Break

15:45 – 16:15      Future and Emerging Technologies (FET) and Industrial Leadership

16:15 – 16:30      Concluding remarks
