Embedding Sustainability in Doctoral Research Practice and Cultures
Building on the success of the first SPROUT event in November 2025, registration is now open for the next session in the series.
Supported by the Research Culture and Community Grant, this workshop continues the work in embedding sustainability within doctoral research. While the first session focused on practical application, this event will expand the conversation to explore how sustainability influences research culture and supports the long-term professional well-being of researchers.
What to expect
The session combines short, focused keynotes with dedicated time for reflection and discussion. It creates a space to think about sustainability as something that is designed, practiced, and lived within academic research.
Attendees can expect:
- Short, focused talks to spark new perspectives.
- Space for reflection and dialogue on sustainability as a lived experience.
- An inclusive, interdisciplinary environment exploring sustainability as practice and culture.
