Hello, I am delighted to announce the publication of the special issue of British Journal of Social Work on The voice and influence of people with lived experience, which I have co-edited. The issue has been written by, reviewed by and edited by people with lived experience. To make it as inclusive as possible, contributors were able to submit academic papers, reflective papers and creative artefacts.
A special mention to PIER members and colleagues with lived experiences of social work, who formed part of a review panel and to everyone who submitted. I am delighted that two BU social work students (Shannon and Lauren) had contributions accepted and feature in the creative artefacts section of the special issue.
Due to its focus on lived experience, BJSW have made the special issue free to access. You can access the issue on the BJSW website and via this link. Please feel free to share.
kind regards
Mel
