NIHR* Research has recently published an article in the British Medical Journal that shows by reducing sitting time in the office, work performance and engagement are improved, as well as general well-being, boosting quality of life and reducing fatigue and back pain.
You can read the article here which outlines how by adopting the SMArT Work programme, workers reported better quality of life and productivity. There are plans to make the SMArT Work programme resources available online so that other organisations can implement them in benefiting their employees.
