Today saw the publication of an academic paper in the World Health Organization’s WHO South-East Asia Journal of Public Health by FHSS’s PhD student Mrs Preeti Mahato. The paper ‘Access to free health-care services for the poor in tertiary hospitals of western Nepal: a descriptive study’ [1] based on work conducted prior to commencing her PhD thesis in the Centre for Midwifery, Maternal and Perinal Health (CMMPH).
