CEMP researchers Mark Readman and Julian McDougall have both presented their work at recent UCL Institute of Education seminars, hosted by the UCL Knowledge Lab.
In A Magical Noun: thinking critically about creativity, Mark Readman explored the ways in which the concept of creativity is socially constructed, mobilised and mythologised.
In Digital Media, Education and Culture: Theorising Third Space Literacies, Julian McDougall and UCL’s John Potter explored the use of some key terms employed in their recent work, including Dynamic Literacies as a way of framing all ‘literacy’ and Third Spaces as a way of conceiving its locations and possibilities for shared meanings.
Video recordings of the full seminars are available via the links above.
The UCL seminar series is hosted by CEMP PHD graduate Michelle Cannon.
