CEMP researchers Mark Readman and Julian McDougall have both presented their work at recent UCL Institute of Education seminars, hosted by the UCL Knowledge Lab.
In A Magical Noun: thinking critically about creativity, Mark Readman explored the ways in which the concept of creativity is socially constructed, mobilised and mythologised.
In Digital Media, Education and Culture: Theorising Third Space Literacies, Julian McDougall and UCL’s John Potter explored the use of some key terms employed in their recent work, including Dynamic Literacies as a way of framing all ‘literacy’ and Third Spaces as a way of conceiving its locations and possibilities for shared meanings.
